Viktor Konotopsky

S1850

Oil painting Girl Driving a Blue Car (based on T. Lempitskaya) Victor Konotopsky is a striking figurative composition inspired by the elegance and geometric sophistication of Art Deco portraiture. A poised woman sits behind the wheel of a sleek blue car, her sculpted face, flowing scarf, and confident gaze creating an atmosphere of independence, glamour, and modern refinement. Konotopsky demonstrates impressive artistic mastery through precise drawing, controlled brushwork, and a sophisticated balance of angular forms and smooth curves. Cool turquoise, deep violet, black, cream, and muted flesh tones create a dramatic and harmonious palette, while the strong diagonal structure gives the composition energy and movement. The artist skillfully emphasizes the contrast between the polished automobile and the elegant human figure, producing a timeless image of style and confidence. This original oil painting is ideal for collectors of Art Deco inspired art, female portraits, vintage automobile paintings, figurative realism, modern interiors, and distinctive fine art.
