Description
The work was published in a collection of papers:
“Harvest,” conference of 14.10.2022, Oxford, UK; proceedings, pp. 168–173;
Title: “To work”
Artist: Oleksandr Khrapachov (b. 1981)
Size: 50 × 60 cm
Medium: Oil on canvas
Style: Academism and Impressionism
Date: 2022
The painting “To work,” from Oleksandr Khrapachov's “Harvest” series, is a powerful reflection of rural life, full of challenges and victories. The artist masterfully combines classical academism with impressionist notes, creating an image that speaks to the heart of everyone who values honest labor.
This canvas depicts a tractor, warmed up and ready for work, standing on the threshold of a new day. This symbol of labor and endurance embodies the strength and determination with which rural workers overcome everyday obstacles. The tractor's warmed-up engine recalls those moments of preparation when each of us gathers strength to face our own challenges.
The palette of the painting conveys warmth and strength, while accents of light and shadow add dynamism and tension, underscoring the importance of every moment before hard work begins. The work not only shows the tractor as a machine but reveals it as a symbol of tireless strength standing guard over well-being and prosperity.
“To work” is not just a painting; it is an inspiration and a reflection of those invisible yet powerful moments when we are ready for action. It will be a wonderful addition to your interior, lending it a sense of strength and determination. By acquiring this work, you will not only adorn your home but also bring into it a symbol of overcoming obstacles and of tireless labor.
