Description
This work in the classic M.Koeur series is a bit special visually, indeed it is 2 nested Koeurs, they each represent a simultaneous and different aspect of the same experience. Sometimes life can be complicated, you can lose your balance both literally and figuratively, that doesn't mean you have to lose your smile and stay positive, besides these things can eventually happen simultaneously or very close, it's up to us to decide if we want to regain our smile quickly and reconnect with life.
Presentation
Is there anything more important in this world than love?
The practice of painting and the life experiences of the artist M.Koeur led him to notice that love should be placed at the center of all things.
Whether it is his fresco work or that on canvas, it is this same message of love that he shares.
It is with benevolence and a smile that the work of M.Koeur speaks to us of love, a natural impetus that we hear a lot about without being able to catch it. It is made up of absurd situations, sharing and jokes that relate the scenes in the artist's painting.
The simplicity of the smiles and the naive lightness are accompanied by the bright colors. Sometimes overused, it is through the games of plastic and contextual contrasts that the artist's painting brings us back to the essentiality of love. Do you remember that moment that rocked your whole being?
M.Koeur is a work on canvas, but also on the wall, he was also selected by BIC to create a collection of lighters (already available) as well as a collection of 4-color pencils (during 2023).
