Black pose, 2022

Damilola Edubiyi

Black Pose for Beauty, Elegance, and More
Black pose for beauty, elegance, and grace,
A stance that defies and leaves a lasting trace.
It speaks of strength and dignity too,
A symbol of power that's long overdue.
This pose is bold and unafraid,
A statement that cannot be swayed.
It shines with purity and shines with light,
A beacon of hope that's black and bright.
And in its stance, it claims its space,
With the freedom that's earned through trials and race.
It takes a stand and will not yield,
A symbol of change that's here to build.
So let the black pose for beauty and more,
A symbol of pride that's worth fighting for.
For in its beauty, there's strength untold,
A story of blackness that's never been told.
