Geometric Orange, 2023

Luca Bornoffi   Emerging artists

A vivid exploration of color and balance. This acrylic composition divides the canvas into bold, geometric sectors. A cool turquoise meets a deep royal blue. These shades contrast sharply with a warm, earthy orange and a soft lavender hue. The intersection of these planes creates a dynamic spatial tension.
At the heart of the scene emerges a sculptural element. A textured white spiral orbits the center. This swirling form introduces a tactile dimension to the flat surface. It evokes the fluid energy of ocean waves and natural rhythms. The movement breaks the rigidity of the surrounding lines.
The artist utilizes a precise palette to inspire a sense of escapism. Each pigment is chosen to project serenity and joy. The interaction between the sharp edges and the organic coil reflects a balance between order and imperfection. This 2023 artwork transforms a simple layout into a meditative experience. The composition relies on the pure power of geometry and chromatic harmony. It culminates in a delicate spiral of raised white paint.
