Description
The title of this painting is Vae soli and refers to a Latin phrase which means “Woe to the lonely man” taken from the words of Ecclesiastes, which characterizes the unhappy position of the isolated man, abandoned to himself, as an encouragement not to remain isolated and to meet comforting encounters.

Sandra Paris is a self-taught painter. While the little girls wanted to be nurses and teachers, Sandra wanted to be a painter. But she never thought it was achievable. In 2014, she embarked on collages. What was to be a parenthesis in his pictorial activity has become a permanent element.
Sandra Paris has exhibited in Europe, the United States, and South America. His work is mainly figurative. She is influenced by the painting of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries: Modigliani, the Fauves, the German Expressionists ...
