Leead Shamir

Leead's painting style ranges from figurative to abstract. The characters are an integral part of Leead's inner world, and accompany her from the moment she started creating. The genesis of the characters are drawn from magical and ancient worlds, from parables, legends and mythical folktales, from which one can see symbols and interpretations in human culture. One of the most important things in Leead's work is to give her own interpretation of things, so that the art will be from the stomach, move, and allow everyone to give their own interpretation. Leead's character is evident in her works in the way that the imperfection is expressed through the thick layers of paint, the disproportionate heads, and the desire to break clear boundaries, all of which characterize the playfulness, wildness, freedom, and imperfection that exist in Leead. Leead wants to continue to develop in the field of art, exhibit in Israel and abroad in renowned galleries, and thus be exposed to a large audience, touch and move as many people as possible.
