Description
The title of the painting “This Rain Will Pass" symbolizes the hope and renewal that comes after a storm. The contrast between the light, almost ethereal outlines of the clouds and the dark, deep shade of the earth dominates the canvas, making one think about the eternal cycle of nature. Made in acrylic on a large canvas, the painting conveys the moment of rain falling from the sky and then suddenly subsiding, leaving behind freshness and purification. The vertical strokes and splashes of paint represent the raindrops impacting the landscape, while the shades of blue and white in the sky suggest the soon-to-be clearing. This painting is an expression of the sense of temporality that is part of each of us, reflecting our own experiences of change and the anticipation of calm after the storm.
