Description
I painted this painting in plein air while standing in my garden directly in front of the morning glories. I was so taken by the way the morning light hit the semi-transparent flower petals..... and how the whole plant was chaotic with small new leaves and large older ones competing for sunlight.
Presentation
The day I walked into my first painting class changed the way I see the world. I love to study the shapes, colors, and light around me. I am a diligent student constantly trying to expand my understanding of different techniques in oil and watercolor. I often set up lessons for myself and don't move for hours once I get started on a piece. Painting is my reward.
