Description
"Tuga" is a deeply evocative piece that celebrates the love for Portugal and an intimate connection with its cultural and emotional roots. The artwork is characterized by runes in green, white, and black, which stand out against a vibrant magenta red background. These runes, with their unique and significant forms, capture the essence of a country whose history and identity are rich and multifaceted.
The green in the runes symbolizes hope and renewal, fundamental characteristics of Portuguese identity, evoking the lush natural landscape and the country's resilient spirit. The white represents peace and purity, evoking harmony and unity, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. The black, on the other hand, suggests the strength and depth of Portugal's cultural and historical roots, reflecting a legacy that is both proud and resilient.
The magenta red background is a bold choice that infuses the piece with vibrant and passionate energy, representing the fervor and intensity of the emotions that permeate life in Portugal, especially during significant national events such as football. This color, in addition to highlighting the runes, creates a powerful contrast that captures attention and invites contemplation.
