Description
“Mind Games" is deeply rooted in the artist's engagement with martial arts, where physical discipline and mindful movement inform each gesture on the canvas. At the time of creating this work, the artist had also begun practicing Kung Fu at a branch of the ancient Buddhist White Lotus temple in Ukraine, integrating its philosophy and energy into his process.
The painting channels both bodily awareness and mental agility, translating the principles of martial arts into visual rhythm, tension, and flow. Each brushstroke reflects a dialogue between controlled technique and intuitive improvisation, capturing the dynamic interplay of mind, body, and spirit.
Remarkably, this work prefigured the artist's future knowledge and explorations, serving as both a creative experiment and a visual record of evolving practice. “Mind Games" invites the viewer into an immersive experience where movement, cognition, and the energy of martial discipline converge, making the canvas a field of both psychological and physical resonance.
