Description
Inspired by the words of K. Y. Robinson :: I fell in love with you when the rolling wave of your laugh brought me peace. With the aforementioned in mind - this original luminous white, green, blue brush painting with gold and silver highlights was actualized. Color, light, texture invite the viewer to participate and see their personal story/vision emerge. I have studied expressionism, impressionism, sumi painting, color field painting, calligraphy, landscape painting, mark making and more - these techniques come together to inform my work. High quality materials are used with a final protective varnish to enhance color. The work is on canvas, wired and ready to hang - sides painted. Original, Signed and Dated direct from my studio to your door - professional.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Why Make Art? The truth is I believe making art chose me rather than the reverse. I'm crazy for uncovering pictures of the unseen--opening the center of simplicity, freedom, still mind, harmony. Pure Water is my muse--surprise is dreamy. Art is everywhere, it's a great big ocean. I've been making pictures since year one.
"Remember when you drank rainwater from the garden..."
