Description
Listening to the rain in my studio while painting this piece, enchanting. The color green relates to balance and harmony. From a color psychology perspective, it is the great balancer of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart. From a color perspective, green is also the color of growth, the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being. The blue is the rain and a certain calm/peace. Making art out of emptiness - what emerges is a gift. Artistry is a dynamic flow that opens the world to oneness - we are all connected. This fresh artwork is influenced by Asian Brush painting and expressionism - following the path of nature, leaves fall with no rush. On archival high quality yupo paper, frame or mount. The color field here is original fine art from my studio to your door. Professional.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Why Make Art? The truth is I believe making art chose me rather than the reverse. I'm crazy for uncovering pictures of the unseen--opening the center of simplicity, freedom, still mind, harmony. Pure Water is my muse--surprise is dreamy. Art is everywhere, it's a great big ocean. I've been making pictures since year one.
"Remember when you drank rainwater from the garden..."
