Description
This captivating artwork presents a compelling exploration of human form and abstract identity. Dominated by vivid colors and bold brushstrokes, the painting features two faceless figures seated against a striking black-and-white brick wall background. The choice of facelessness evokes a universal and anonymous quality, inviting viewers to project their own interpretations and emotions onto the figures. The figures are adorned in vibrant attire: the figure on the left wears a blue top paired with green pants, while the one on the right is dressed in a blue top and blue pants. This color scheme not only contrasts vividly with the monochromatic background but also symbolizes harmony and balance. The fluidity of the figures' hair, rendered in sweeping strokes of warm brown hues, adds a dynamic movement, seamlessly integrating the figures with the overall composition. The stark brick wall backdrop reinforces a sense of urban modernity, grounding the ethereal quality of the faceless figures in a concrete reality. Despite the simplicity of the scene, the use of texture and color depth invigorates the image with a sense of intrigue and narrative potential. The juxtaposition of abstract and figurative elements commands attention, making this artwork both visually arresting and profoundly thought-provoking.
Presentation
His professional career as a painter begins in early 2022 when he retires from the business world after more than 50 years. The COVID-19 Contemplation made us realize how important it is to do what we like. This, along with the increase in free time, made Ernest Carneado Ferreri begin to express his deepest feelings through canvases and paintings. His first paintings focus on figures of women, animals, and the sea—three elements that have been his source of inspiration since he was little.
Ernest Carneado Ferreri begins painting self-taught, learning with each brushstroke. His first canvases show disorder, but, above all, great passion. For the artist, painting is a way of opening up to the world and expressing his emotions, his frustrations, and his desires. That is why, in just one year, he has made more than 200 paintings.
Ernest Carneado Ferreri was born in Barcelona on August 19, 1952. His professional career focused on manufacturing, design, and marketing of children's toys. During this period, she got married and had three wonderful children, got divorced, and now has two granddaughters. For years, he traveled around the world and visited several countries, acquiring a global awareness and vision that are reflected in his current paintings.
