Description
In this drawing, I captured the elusive grace of a bygone era through minimalistic and figurative strokes. Using pastel, pencil, and charcoal, I depicted a lady in a wide-brimmed hat, embodying timeless elegance and a mysterious poise. The soft textures and muted palette evoke a sense of nostalgia and quiet introspection. This piece invites contemplation and offers a serene, sophisticated aura to any room, reminding us of the understated beauty in simplicity.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
