Description
This artwork is a mesmerizing abstract painting characterized by its dynamic interplay of blue and white hues, evocative of tumultuous ocean waves or a stormy sky. The artist employs a masterful blend of techniques to create an illusion of depth and movement. Bold, sweeping brushstrokes form the core structure, their fluidity echoing the natural ebb and flow of water. Strategic use of lighter tones brings a luminescent quality to the piece, mimicking the way light dances on the surface of a restless sea. Streaks of white interlace with various shades of blue to craft a composition that is both chaotic and harmonious, capturing the viewer's imagination. The texture is palpable, with layers of paint adding a tactile dimension that invites closer inspection. There is an ethereal quality in the way the colors melt, suggesting both the serenity and power of nature's elements. This painting is not just a visual experience; it's an evocative exploration of nature's most captivating features. Its unique composition demands attention and contemplation, making it a striking centerpiece in any collection.
Presentation
Sandra Encaoua is a French artist, born in Paris in 1974. She lives and works in Miami.
Sandra Encaoua is mainly interested by natural imperfect patterns. Her painting is subtle with
double exposure and thickened. Processing the material is key for Sandra, who likes to work and mix until it is perfectly in keeping with the pattern.
Her portraits are a mix of blazing red with sparkling white, as well as bright turquoise which respects the warmth of ocher and evanescence of roses. Sandra's touch exudes not only strength and vitality but also gentleness.
She has already exhibited her works in U.S.A, France, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland.
In 2013, Sandra won the "Jeune Talent" competition at the Centre de Recherche d'Art et de Conservation du Patrimoine.
