Description
A profound exploration of the unseen. This acrylic painting captures a celestial energy through a bold, abstract lens. Deep indigos collide with luminous teals. The surface pulses with tactile energy. Heavy impasto creates jagged peaks and cavernous depths. It evokes a sense of cosmic expansion. The composition shifts from dense, dark shadows to ethereal light.
The artist blends a background in fine arts restoration with a modern multidisciplinary approach. This technical precision informs the layering of the pigments. Every stroke suggests a movement toward a higher state of awareness. The cool palette suggests an aquatic or galactic void. It is a meditative study on the boundaries of human perception.
The artwork balances chaos and harmony. Shards of pale violet pierce through the darkness. These highlights guide the eye across a textured landscape. The piece reflects a fascination with mythology and the evolution of the spirit. It stands as a window into a parallel dimension. The final effect is one of immersive serenity and intellectual depth. The application of acrylics creates a shimmering, crystalline finish.
Presentation
Born in 1986, Nino Bosikashvili is a Georgian multidisciplinary artist now based in Melbourne, Australia. She trained at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art between 2003 and 2009, earning a Bachelor's degree in Restoration of Fine Arts followed by a Master's degree in Multimedia Design — a dual background that continues to inform the technical and conceptual depth of her work. Her practice explores social and political realities, ecological themes, questions of identity, history and mythology, and human development. Since the early 2000s, her work has been shown in more than thirty exhibitions and collected by art lovers in many countries. She was recognised among the world's leading illustrators in the Australian publication Pictoria Volume 2, released by CapsulesBook. Moving between Georgia and Australia, Nino Bosikashvili has built a career spanning numerous solo and group exhibitions, artist residencies, and international collaborations, across painting, illustration and graphic design.
