Catherine Ludeau

This captivating work features a striking, minimalist composition that plays with the notions of symmetry and color. At the center of the image, a semi-circular shape in blue unfolds elegantly against a clean background. The upper half of the arc is a deep blue, gently fading to a lighter tone toward the bottom, creating a sense of depth and dimensionality. This work is notable for its clever use of reflection. The blue curve appears to mirror itself on a smooth surface, doubling the shape while adding an intriguing symmetry. This mirror illusion invites the viewer to contemplate the boundary between the object and its reflection, reinforcing the idea of duality. The purity of the lines and the apparent simplicity of the design emphasize a perfect visual balance. The subtle interplay of light and color gives this piece an almost meditative quality, inciting reflection. Each element of the composition is precisely executed, offering a captivating visual experience that transcends mere graphics. Ultimately, this work unfolds as a sophisticated exploration of geometry and abstraction, highlighting the intrinsic beauty of simple forms sublimated by a well-thought-out chromatic palette. A piece that combines minimalist rigor with an undeniable artistic depth.
