Description
This captivating artwork features an abstract composition with black and white biomorphic shapes floating on an expressive background. The creatures are endowed with intriguing geometric patterns, evoking a fusion between primitive and modern elements. The striking contrast between the black and white figures creates a powerful visual dynamic, accentuated by the textured background of blue, brown and beige hues. Each character seems to possess a distinct personality, emphasized by details such as spirals or concentric lines. The juxtaposition of organic shapes with strictly geometric patterns creates artistic tension, captivating the viewer's eye. This painting explores the boundaries between abstraction and surrealism, inviting open interpretation while evoking rich cultural symbolism.
Presentation
In recent years my approach has been to experiment with materials and various techniques to then agglomerate these and to return to more direct and simple works. My latest paintings are, in my opinion, an achievement on the subject of color contrasts, the work of the backgrounds with the opposition of the foreground and the background. A search for suspension and frozen time. Sometimes simplicity in the colors but to accompany the contrasts. My objective, if I have succeeded, is to ensure that the spectator is not bored by what he sees and that he tends to return to look at the painting with feelings of immersion, submersion and oversight. This is why there is no theme in my paintings but rather clues of reality or not, which are lost in the imbalance of shapes and objects.
