Description
The painting embodies a deep connection between humanity and nature. The woman seems to personify the iris, highlighting that humans are part of nature and that the beauty of the natural world is reflected in us. In her hand, the flower becomes a symbol of fleeting beauty, hope, and awakening. The iris is often associated with spring and dreams that are ready to bloom if given the time and space. The flower is not just an accessory, but a reflection of her essence—delicate, enigmatic, and full of life. The painting invites contemplation on the unity of nature and humanity, the beauty that lives in every moment, and dreams that can come to life.
Presentation
Julia Ruf is a contemporary artist from Berlin, Germany.
To create her unique works of art, she uses various materials (acrylic, oil, oil pastel).
Her works convey the value and significance of life's moments, the desire for the best, the excitement of anticipation, sexuality and deep emotional experiences. And she is looking for ways to archive these moments, turning them into small stories.
Her paintings are based on figurative images - which are an exploration of the feelings awakened by the artist as a result of the search for inner meaning.
Viewers are invited to immerse themselves in a work of art, experience the emotions it evokes, and discover a part of themselves in it.
