Nicoleta Stati

Plastic Artist, Master of Art, Member of the Union of Plastic Artists (UAP) from the Republic of Moldova, Honorary Member the Academy of Art of Russia. Founder and President of the “Stati Art" Foundation from the Republic of Moldova, the Academic Foundation “Voice of Art" from Romania. Founder of the “Stati Art" Creation Course. I create easel paintings and graphic works, blending various styles and artistic movements, with a strong foundation in Impressionism and Expressionism. While I remain committed to figurative painting, my focus in each piece is to conceptualize its visual message, crafting archetypes (or symbols) through the depicted elements and characters. I also aim to highlight national traits within my subjects, expressing them through color, form, and thematic elements. I tend to reproduce in my works my inner world or the psychological state of the painted characters. The elements that characterize my painting would be chromatic expressiveness, stylization and abstraction of forms, vibrant touches of color in demi paste and full paste. The subjects in the works vary from plein-air landscapes, still life, human figures and portraits to large conceptual, abstract compositions. I had the most representative personal exhibitions at the European Parliament in Brussels, the House of Europe in the Hague, the Diplomatic Academy in Paris, the National Art Museum in Chișinău, the Academy of Arts in Moscow. In my artistic activity since 1999, I have participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions in the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Italy, Hungary, France, Belgium, etc. Personal art exhibitions: September - October 2021, Russian Academy of Arts, Zurab Tseretely's Art Gallery, Inspiration and Traditions Exhibition April 2011 European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium January 2011" Ascom Building" Chisinau, Republic of Moldova May- April 2008 “Ex Chiesa del Santissima Nome di Gesu", Moncalieri-Turin, Italy October 2007“Polo della Qualita", Marcianise, Caserta, Italy July 2007 International Film Festival “Salento Finibus Terrae" San Vito dei Normanni, Italy December 2005 “Adorama" Gallery, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova November 2003 UN Headquarters, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova June 2001 National Museum of Arts, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova October 2000 Central House of Painters, Moscow, Russian Federation March 2000 “Ioansen" Gallery, Rome, Italy May-June 1999 National Museum of Fine Arts, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova November 1998 Academy of Diplomacy, Paris, France Group art exhibitions: Recent: 4-12 September 2024, Spazio Arte Tolomeo, Milano, Italy 29-30 October 2024, Parallax Art Fair, London, UK 29-30 January 2024, Salon d'Automne, Paris, France 7 June 2024 Moldova has Art, Chisinau, Moldova Others: June – November 2011 Venice Biennale, the 54th International Art Exhibition, Venice, Italy October 2011 “House of Europe", Hague, The Netherlands 1999-2016 Italy, Republic of Moldova, Hungary, Russian Federation, France, Romania www.nicoletastati.com
