Description
Acrylic paintings on wood, each piece embodying a distinctly oriental spirit. These unique works of art bring a joyful and colorful ambiance to any space. A glossy varnish layer is applied to protect against UV rays and dust. The complete artwork consists of 16 individual pieces. Each piece measures 30 x 30 cm (11.8 x 11.8 inches), forming a total size of 120 x 120 cm (47.2 x 47.2 inches) when arranged as a 4x4 grid. You can increase the overall size by leaving space between each painting, or display them in two rows with 8 paintings per row. Feel free to leave blank space between each piece as desired, customizing the layout to best fit your home. The paintings can also be arranged in any direction to suit your space.
Framing is optional, as the paintings are created on wood panels. However, depending on your interior style, you may choose to add frames in colors that complement your decor. Multidisciplinary contemporary artist Viet Ha Tran describes her acrylic abstract paintings as an "explosion of gentle emotions".
Her fascination with fluid abstract art allows her to convey the dynamic energy of Taoism philosophy that deeply influences her creative ideology. Taoism emphasizes living in harmony with nature and the universe, encouraging a peaceful alignment with the natural order. Through fluid painting techniques, Viet Ha translates these ideals onto canvas, where swirling colors, soft gradients, and organic forms create a sense of flow and balance. Her fluid art is marked by spontaneity, embracing the unpredictability of the medium. Each painting is a one-of-a-kind expression of the moment, as the artist's emotions and the interplay of paint and gravity shape the outcome. Viet Ha's works are not just visual representations but emotional outbursts, shaped by a philosophical belief in the harmony between humans and nature.
Presentation
Member of the Royal Photographic Society of Spain, Viet Ha Tran is a Vietnamese Spanish fine art photographer and multi-disciplinary artist whose name is officially listed in the art market since 2015 and published in over 130 newspapers and magazines around the world.
Her works have made presence on Spanish national news Expansión and El Economista, on Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair France, The Times of India, The Hindu, Vietnam News, at Saatchi Gallery London, and were auctioned by Christie's Hong Kong for charity. She is listed as global artist by Artprice, the world leader in art market information, and represented by Art+Commerce / Vogue Italia – the joint project of the largest global photo agency based in New York and the prestigious Vogue Italia.
Viet Ha started her artistic career in 2013 with fine art photography then in 2018 with abstract paintings. Her works have appeared in public auctions in Spain alongside works by Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Banksy and Andy Warhol. From 2018 to 2020, her photos were exhibited on the fleet of eight premium vessels of the Holland America Line that travel around the world.
Viet Ha is especially well known for her emotionally dense and endlessly compelling photographs of women and landscapes. Her art emphasizes fantasy and imagination as a source of aesthetic experience. Instead of taking photos, she tries to paint women's emotions, inner dreams, intimacy, poetry and philosophy with her camera. As a result, her photos, apart from having an air of classic paintings, capture an ephemeral moment of feminine emotions flowing through the river of time. As reality plays hide-and-seek with fantasy, it's a reflection of those volatile moods etched in the permanent state of change.
Former Director of Admissions for Finance Master Programs at prestigious IE University (Madrid, Spain) during 2009-2020, Viet Ha also worked as Exhibition Manager at IE and Jury Member of IE Foundation Prizes in the Humanities IE University from 2016-2020. She has given lectures on art and the art market at various conferences in Spain such as IE University and The Art Market Agency. In 2020 she left the corporate world to start a full-time career as an artist.
Viet Ha was nominated 200 Influential Vietnam Global Leaders in 2019 by the Vietnam Embassy in Spain and Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
