Description
The painting "Ever Changing States" is an abstract work made with acrylic paint on canvas. The composition features a rich interplay of vibrant colors and fluid forms. The central part of the painting bursts with a mix of warm colorsâ€"bright reds, oranges, yellows, and pinksâ€"which blend and swirl into each other, creating a dynamic sense of movement. The forms are cloud-like, almost suggesting a nebula or some kind of organic explosion. The surrounding areas transition into cooler shades, with a deep blue dominating the edges of the painting. This blue fades softly into lighter tones towards the center, framing the more chaotic, colorful elements. The texture appears layered and complex, giving a sense of depth, with various shades interacting in a seemingly spontaneous manner. I chose the title "Ever Changing States," hoping that the viewer is drawn into the different hues and textures, which give an impression of transformation or fluidityâ€"perhaps evoking the constant change in nature or internal emotions. The blending of bright and muted tones captures a sense of unpredictability and movement, adding an ethereal quality to the piece. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars. The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.

Guided by pure emotions and without a focus on a figurative content, I try to trigger feelings that each person perceives differently.

Artistic Influences:
In 2008 I went to the Hamburger Kunsthalle to see the Retrospective of Mark Rothko. I never knew how big his paintings were before seeing them live in this amazing exhibition. It was an overwhelming feeling and it provoke profound emotion in me. An immense power of attraction came from these paintings. Fascinating to see what pure color squares can provoke. That's where I learned less is more.
