Description
The painting appears to be an abstract piece with soft, pastel tones and intricate textures. It primarily uses light, airy colors such as soft pinks, light blues, gentle yellows, and hints of lavender, green, and white. The colors seem to blend into each other, creating a dreamy, almost ethereal atmosphere. There are subtle lines and textured patterns throughout the canvas, which add depth and complexity to the artwork. The texture created by the acrylic paint gives the impression of a multi-layered surface, with some areas more pronounced, evoking a sense of movement or natural forms, perhaps reminiscent of weathered surfaces or organic elements like stone, clouds, or water. The cracks, layers, and delicate transitions between the colors make the artwork feel soft, as suggested by the title, "Ever So Softly." Overall, this is a calm, harmonious painting with a strong sense of serenity and subtle emotion, inviting the viewer to explore its delicate details and soothing color palette.

Artistic Influences:
In 2008 I went to the Hamburger Kunsthalle to see the Retrospective of Mark Rothko. I never knew how big his paintings were before seeing them live in this amazing exhibition. It was an overwhelming feeling and it provoke profound emotion in me. An immense power of attraction came from these paintings. Fascinating to see what pure color squares can provoke. That's where I learned less is more.
