Description
As an artist, I sought to capture the essence of classic sophistication and glamour in this piece. “Champagne from a Gentleman" portrays a pyramid of champagne glasses, cascading under the graceful hand of a man in a tuxedo—a symbol of refined elegance and timeless retro style. Set against a striking red background, this minimalist pop-art composition combines the vintage charm of a bygone era with the bold simplicity of modern design.
The meticulously rendered details of the bottle, glasses, and tuxedo evoke a scene of celebration, where the effervescence of champagne mirrors the spirit of luxury and indulgence. This painting is not just an artwork but an invitation to revel in moments of glamour and sophistication, all conveyed through a classic yet contemporary lens.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
