Insight, 2024

Olha Trikolich

In my expressive art, I convey the emotions that arise in a person at the moment of awareness. I try to capture the beauty of the "Now" moment, in which there is no past or future. A moment of inner insight and liberation, the awakening of the soul to its inner freedom, bringing joy and harmony.

This picture took part in Art Fair in Lavra Gallery, Kiev, October 2024.

This artwork features a wooden artist's mannequin striking a contemplative pose amidst a swirling whirlwind of vibrant colors and abstract forms. The mannequin, with its smooth, articulated limbs, sits against a backdrop of dynamic, flowing hues ranging from deep purples and blues to fiery reds and oranges. The contrast between the mannequin's wooden texture and the vivid, fluid background creates a striking visual tension, drawing the viewer's eye. Delicate floral elements intertwine with ethereal, smoky tendrils, infusing the scene with an organic, dreamlike quality. This tension between the static figure and the movement surrounding it evokes a sense of introspection and harmony between structure and chaos. The piece captivates with its intricate balance of simplicity and complexity, inviting in-depth exploration of the relationship between the animate and inanimate. This artwork is both a celebration of form and a meditative exploration of color and movement.
