Description
This captivating artwork features an explosion of vibrant colors dominated by pink and green tones. Abstract patterns intertwine to create a rich and complex visual landscape. Textured squares integrate seamlessly with sinuous lines and white dots, evoking flowers scattered across a vibrant canvas. The contrast between the straight and organic elements adds a surprising dynamic. Each brushstroke speaks of energy and emotion, while subtle shades of red and green unfold to tell a story of passion and renewal. The balance between chaos and harmony makes this painting unique and fascinating, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the artist's creative universe.
Presentation
When, in March 2020, we were told we couldn't go out any more, FLOV' felt a compelling need to create a world of colour, to paint, to escape.
So she decided: 'I'm going to paint pictures that feel good'.
In her search for freedom, she came across a quotation from Matisse that she took as a personal message: 'Colour above all, and even more than drawing, is a liberation'.
Inspired by nature, she uses acrylic paint, which she works with a brush, a knife or any other object that helps her to express her emotions on canvas. She can add graphite, ink or chalk to suggest relief.
She lets herself be carried away by the gesture, creating intuitively, letting herself be guided by the colours and contrasts. You could say that she lets go, so she follows her emotions and lets the colours express themselves.
