Description
This mesmerizing artwork presents a dreamlike landscape, blending vivid colors in a harmonious symphony of hues. Dominated by cool blues and purples, the composition evokes a tranquil, ethereal atmosphere, contrasted by bursts of warm reds and oranges that infuse the piece with dynamism and energy. Skillful brushstrokes suggest misty mountains in the background, shrouded in delicate layers that convey depth. The fluid interplay of colors and abstract forms hints at reflections on water, inviting viewers to lose themselves in its serene beauty. Its captivating fusion of abstraction and impressionism distinguishes this piece, exemplifying the artist's ability to convey both mood and motion. A focal point of golden yellow suggests a distant dwell or sunrise, adding a focal note of intrigue and imagination. This evocative work encapsulates a transient moment, inviting contemplation and wonder.
Presentation
Annette is an artist living and working in southern Germany. She discovered her love for art an early age. She has worked as a doctor, and she is a self taught artist. Her inspiration is drawn from color, shape, proportion and mostly from light. She highly values oil paintings because it gives her a huge variety of technical means for creating a picture in which she can express everything she wants. The theme of her art can be everything, but her essential intention ist o bring out light and width and expanse, at last a feeling of freedom. Her style of painting changes between controlled and experimental, using the traditional oil technique as well as the mixture oil and acrylic colour.
She says of herself:
“As an autodidact, I work from the awareness that I am not beholden to anyone. I don't have to strive for an “individual handwriting" or paint in a certain direction. The only strict judge of my pictures is myself. This large amount of freedom gives me plenty of room for new image ideas."
