Description
This artwork captures a human figure seen from above, walking on a bright surface that evokes a sunny beach. She wears a wide-brimmed hat and casual attire, casting an elongated and dynamic shadow. The soft color palette, dominated by tones of blue, beige and white, creates an atmosphere of tranquility and summer freedom. The play of light and shadow adds depth and accentuates the graceful and balanced movement of the figure. This artistic composition skillfully plays with perspective and angle of view, offering an engaging and original view of the subject, while evoking a feeling of escape and calm. The minimalist aesthetic reinforces the simple and timeless beauty of the scene.

Presentation
Born in 1967, Elisabeth de Chérisey graduated in Plastic Arts from the Neufville Conte workshop.
She began by creating unique ceramic pieces before selling models of original designs to the big names in porcelain and earthenware such as Bernardaud, Gien, Villeroy et Boch, Coquet, Raynaud, Philippe Deshoullières.
But it is painting that fascinates her. After a series of still lifes that she brings to life, she immerses herself in the deep study of characters and horses, studying gestures and the moment, like so many pieces of life.
Figuring simple attitudes, such as the improvised "confidences" on the steps, gives a timeless meaning, a pose in time. The sun comes to emphasize a leaning shoulder, the shadow unifies beings and things to the earth.
