Description
Klish 29
"Love on the Bend" is a striking and playful exploration of intimacy and human connection through the metaphor of chairs. Part of the "Kamasutra Chairs" series, this painting transforms everyday objects into a symbolic representation of relationships, emotions, and physical closeness. The two vividly colored chairs, intertwined in a dynamic pose, convey movement, passion, and tension, highlighting the dance of affection and desire. The bold contrast between the bright pink and yellow hues against the dark background emphasizes the emotional intensity of the moment. Klishyn's expressive brushstrokes and textured application add a sense of raw energy, making the composition feel both abstract and deeply personal.Through this work, the artist invites viewers to reflect on the fluidity and complexity of love—how it bends, adapts, and intertwines, yet remains a fundamental force that binds people together.

He graduated from the Technical and Economic Institute and worked as an engineer, teacher, and then in the field of insurance, finance and banking. Since May 2014, a forced migrant has been living in Kyiv.
The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
