Description
Klish 55
Andriy Klishyn's painting "Red Flower" is a bold and expressive exploration of vitality, passion, and nature's raw energy. The central element, a striking red bloom with a radiant, almost fiery aura, dominates the canvas, drawing the viewer into its powerful presence. The intense contrast between the flower's vivid red and the dark, almost shadowy stem and leaves adds an element of drama, suggesting both strength and fragility. The background, infused with soft pink and warm earthy tones, enhances the impression of light emanating from the flower, making it feel like a source of life or transformation. The rich, textured brushstrokes give the composition a sense of movement, as if the flower is pulsating with energy, growing wildly beyond its surroundings.Through this work, Klishyn conveys themes of passion, resilience, and the unstoppable force of life. "Red Flower" is not just a botanical representation—it is a symbol of inner fire, the essence of creation, and the beauty of standing out against the odds. The painting invites the viewer to reflect on nature's power and the emotional depth hidden within its simplest forms.

The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
