Description
While browsing Matisse's works, my gaze was drawn to the work "The Joy of Life," this work inspired me because it was quite different from some of Matisse's other works, it inspired in me calm, beauty, and the intimacy of women and humanity.
There was a kind of dream and utopia.
Humanity and its beauty, the gentleness of man, and nature as a feeling of kindness and a divine garden.
With great lightness, I wanted to represent the beauty of nature and humanity in rather soft and pastel tones, the drips of the trees protecting humanity and the variations of colors that I wanted in order to give this particular ambiance of humanity in its simplest expression, sheltered from the eyes and violence of men.
It is a feminine pose in its intimacy, far from the violent gazes of certain inhuman beings.
Presentation
Sophie Petetin, colorist painter, is a curious artist in her life as in her painting.
Ella has chosen to enhance the beauty of the nature that surrounds her throughout her travels and walks in order to provide a moment of happiness and change the way the world sees it.
Its colors and materials respond to each other in a poetic and joyful symphony, color is part of its DNA; his gesture is free, his materials are generous and give birth to unique paintings with different themes: Nature, Seaside, Urban, Travel and Modern Art.
She collaborates with the decoration professions on projects for individuals and businesses.
Originally from Franche Comté, she lived in Normandy for 15 years (Le Havre then Rouen) and has lived in Le Mans since 2010. Her works are sold in France and internationally.
