Description
While creating this work, I was inspired by the raw beauty of nature, the boundlessness of the ocean, and the mesmerizing dance of sea waves along the shore. This painting is a fusion of landscape and seascape, where the infinite horizon meets the soft beige sand, capturing the serene essence of summer.
The deep navy blue and delicate sky blue tones of the water elegantly contrast with the warmth of the sand, creating a sense of tranquility.
The ocean waves, painted with expressive strokes, embody both the strength and tenderness of the sea.
Against this stylish and abstract seascape, two nude women lay on the golden sand. They are depicted in a minimalist style, their bodies reduced to pure lines and forms, emphasizing the harmony between human nature and the elements. Their feminine curves—breasts and buttocks— are subtly portrayed. Elegant white retro hats, shielding their heads from the summer sun, add an air of mystery, enhancing the sense of refined leisure.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
