Description
In this work, Stéphane LMBD captures a fraternal tension, oscillating between connection and confrontation. Two figures, opposed by their complexion—one black, the other white—face each other in a silent but intense dialogue. The figure on the right extends one hand toward the other, in a gesture that can be interpreted as an attempt at appeasement.
The graphic treatment, with thick lines and angular shapes, evokes an aesthetic close to art brut and street art. The colorful frame, with its touches of red, yellow, green, and blue, creates a dynamic contrast that emphasizes the contained energy of the scene.
The ambiguity of their exchange is reinforced by their expressions: their closed, almost blasé gaze and their tense mouths leave room for interpretation. Are they in disagreement? Do they recognize each other as similar despite their differences?
With "Hey Bro," LMBD explores brotherhood in all its facets: a relationship made of attraction and tension, where balance is always at stake.

Presentation
Stéphane LMBD is a contemporary artist whose work draws inspiration from pop culture and the codes of urban art. Using mixed media combining acrylic, Posca, and screen printing, he creates vibrant works that combine iconic references and graphic energy. His approach is distinguished by meticulous attention to detail and finishing, making each piece a balance between spontaneity and mastery.
Exploring the contrasts between modernity and nostalgia, between shadow and light, he brings to life works that question our relationship with the images and symbols of our time. His creations, both powerful and immersive, seek to capture the intensity of the contemporary world.
Exhibited in several artistic venues and events, Stéphane LMBD continues his work with a constant ambition: to provoke an emotion, create a dialogue, and inscribe his art in a strong visual and sensory continuity.
