Description
This fascinating painting is characterized by its rich emerald green hue, evoking an atmosphere of calm and depth. The stylized leaves appear to float against a textured background, lending a sense of serene movement. The texture of the canvas suggests a carefully controlled layering technique, creating an interplay of light and shadow that brings the plant forms to life. Each leaf, painted with precise strokes, captures the essence of nature in an almost ethereal rendering. The work conveys an atmosphere of freshness and rejuvenation, nodding to renewal and the eternal cycle of life. The choice of colors and skillful handling of the composition make this piece a true testament to artistic talent, inviting the viewer to an introspective reflection on nature and its enduring beauty.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
