Description

French mixed media abstract expressionist painting on board by Danièle Jaquillard. The painting is signed and dated bottom right. Presented in a custom, painted tray frame.

A strong and impactful abstract work full of colour and texture. Jaquillard has used her medium of collage and paint to give a wonderful depth and character to the work. The shades of blue move the eye and then the two red panels provide a wonderful contrast. Her creation of patina is truly exceptional and makes the work sing.

This artwork is a striking abstract composition featuring a vibrant interplay of colors and forms. Dominated by a rich, textured blue background, the painting is punctuated by bold, geometric shapes in vivid coral. These coral elements, with their irregular, organic outlines, create a dynamic contrast against the serene azure expanse. The juxtaposition of rough and smooth textures adds depth and intrigue, inviting the viewer to explore its layered complexity. Subtle hints of lighter colors peek through the blue, suggesting a sense of movement and spontaneity. The artist's skillful use of color and texture conveys a sense of balance and harmony despite the seemingly random arrangement of forms. This artwork stands out for its compelling fusion of bold colors and abstract forms, making it a captivating piece that stimulates the imagination and evokes a sense of curiosity.
