"Beauty of nature": Serene Ginger Cat & Misty Mountains – Modern Textured Artwork for Contemporary Homes, 2025

Joanna Misoteri

Joanna Misoteri is a professional artist whose works uniquely blend traditional Eastern motifs with contemporary artistic techniques. Inspired by 19th-century Japanese woodblock prints, natural landscapes, and cultural imagery from China, Japan, and Southern countries, Joanna creates textured, three-dimensional compositions using acrylic paints, texture paste, epoxy resin, and alcohol inks. Her pieces transform the canvas into tactile artworks of art, offering a captivating 3D effect.

Joanna's formal training in fine arts began in art school and continued at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, providing her with a solid foundation for her professional journey. Her participation in various workshops and courses has allowed her to explore innovative combinations of materials and styles. Always seeking to develop a distinct artistic language, Joanna's work is defined by harmony, aesthetic beauty, and a profound appreciation for the natural world.

Key milestones in Joanna's career include her participation in prominent exhibitions in Moscow, which were featured on major TV channels such as NTV and "Russia," and earning accolades from EpoxyMaster and ResinArt for her innovative 3D artworks. Her paintings are highly regarded by collectors and art enthusiasts for their delicate balance of tradition and modernity.
