Description
In this sensual work, I explore the theme of connection with nature and dissolution in the moment. The gently curved, nude female body seems to disappear onto the shore—carried by the breeze of a delicate gray-blue sea, awakening a sense of pleasure and slow creation. This black and white nude body—breasts, legs, hips—is exposed, vulnerable, and filled with breath. It invites the viewer into a space of intimate silence, as if she were dissolving into the sea air on a deserted beach.
The abstract contrasts of black and white, the passionate drips, and the free gestures echo the waves—both external and internal. She is erotic and inaccessible, a woman in black and white suspended between touch and disappearance.
Text on the canvas:
“To Be. To Feel. To Touch. To See. / To Breathe…"
This phrase becomes the very breath of the composition—its rhythm and essence. This work speaks of corporality, freedom, and the silent language of desire—erotic art in a minimalist, fluid form.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
