Description
This captivating artwork features a bold, minimalist geometric assemblage. The circular and rectangular shapes, arranged vertically and horizontally, create an intriguing visual dynamic. Each shape is filled with intricate black patterns, evoking natural textures or organic structures, set against a gold background that accentuates their impact. The juxtaposition of lines and circles creates a dialogue between movement and balance. The composition is carefully balanced, with a large central circle that immediately draws the eye, flanked by carefully placed semicircles and rectangles. The use of black and gold creates a powerful contrast, giving the work depth and visual richness. This painting illustrates a perfect marriage of abstraction and structure, inviting the viewer to explore its patterns and harmonious balance.
Presentation
Born in Albi in 1965, she spent much of her life exploring various artistic practices with a specialization in sculpture and engraving.
His career was marked by a turning point in 2016 after a serious health problem which pushed him to devote himself entirely to his Art.
His works reflect a dialogue between contrasting materials, such as paper and iron, and address themes such as the passage of time, memory and human relationships.
His project "only stories" is emblematic of this approach, evoking intimate and universal stories through abstract and figurative forms.
