Description
This striking work consists of four abstract squares in blue, black, and beige hues, mounted on a striated black background. Each square features a unique pattern, combining curved and straight lines in captivating visual harmony. The upper left square evokes flowing waves, while the right features an arched configuration reminiscent of a bridge. At the bottom, the two squares explore the dynamic interplay between earthy and blue hues. The black background adds striking depth, emphasizing the bold chromatic contrast of the patterns. The regular arrangement creates an impressive sense of movement and visual rhythm. This juxtaposition of colors and shapes offers a rich sensory experience, demonstrating a subtle mastery of geometry and color. A bold statement of contemporary art, playing on perception and aesthetics.
Presentation
Abstraction allows me to implement a creative process within a logic of constraints. I find freedom in establishing rules of the game.
I focus. I think I know where I'm going. I think I understand what I'm doing. This apparent framework gradually leaves room for surprises that I exploit, for errors that I exaggerate, for questions that I let run wild. My foundation is solid; the more I grow in my practice, the more flexible it becomes. I trust what happens.
A moment out of time and I share a memory of it.
My technique is based on a composition that always comes back and is influenced by a subject, a form, a support and colors.
The message? Have fun, guess, be curious!
