Description
The eye first falls on a rigorous structure. Vertical lines are organized into chromatic bands. Black, white, and gray dominate the upper and lower registers. These neutral areas create a stable and architectural frame.
In the center, the balance shifts. A horizontal stripe breaks the monotony. Red, yellow, and orange intertwine precisely in it. These flashes of color bring immediate energy. The contrast is sharp. Geometry becomes a rhythm game.
The artist transposes here their mastery of forms. The work in acrylic allows for perfect sharpness of the contours. Each rectangle is delimited with care. The composition evokes a visual code or a musical score.
The whole plays on repetition and rupture. The light seems to glide over the flat surfaces. This acrylic painting of 2026 explores the tension between order and spontaneity. The work stands out for its clarity and visual depth.
Presentation
Ghislaine Chapuis now expresses her creativity by painting canvases inspired by the fluid acrylic painting technique.
This fascinating technique, in which she has trained, has opened up new creative horizons, giving rise to paintings of astonishing colorful effervescence.
This new artistic path follows a long creative journey that Ghislaine Chapuis began by training at the Centre Européen de Recherche et de Formation aux Arts Verriers in Vannes-le-Châtel, France, where she learned the "Glass Fusing" technique, which involves assembling pieces of glass at high temperature.
Perfecting her skills, the creation of decorative glass pieces gradually led her to create glass paintings, then to imagine acrylic paintings offering the possibility of larger formats.
