Description
In this elegant work, I depicted a visual dialogue between classic glamour and raw freedom. A pair of white high-heeled pumps—symbols of femininity and refinement—rest next to a real vintage vinyl record, physically embedded within the canvas. In the vibrant red center of the vinyl, I hand-painted the phrase “Let's dance barefoot," an invitation to let go. The work fuses pop art and retro style, evoking a vintage aesthetic and timeless chic.
I used a contrast of black and white, softened by a muted, elegant purple, to create an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and vibrant.
The philosophy of this painting is based on a simple but powerful idea: to let go of appearances, and reconnect with yourself—barefoot, honestly, defenseless.
It's not just about dancing, but about choosing to be present rather than perfect. A reminder that sometimes, to feel truly alive, all you have to do is kick off your shoes and move.
