Description
This artwork, set in the serene landscapes of Spain, captures a captivating interplay of earth and sky. The piece features a richly textured foreground, where earthy browns and tans blend seamlessly, evoking the vast Spanish plains. Above, a delicate, pale lavender sky stretches infinitely, punctuated by a dramatic, cloud-like formation with ethereal hints of purple and white. This unique organization of elements creates a striking juxtaposition between the grounded, tactile quality of the land and the celestial, almost dreamlike atmosphere above. The vivid use of texture and color invites viewers into a contemplative exploration of nature's beauty. The artwork's ability to evoke both calm and curiosity makes it not only a visual experience but an emotional journey, highlighting the stunning simplicity and profound depth found within Spain's natural landscapes.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
