Description
This captivating work presents a minimalist and serene Japanese interior. To the left, a kakemono adorns the wall with a delicate blossoming sakura branch, evoking the fleeting beauty of nature. To the right, a window opens onto a spectacular view of Mount Fuji, its snow-capped peak rising majestically above a tranquil lake, symbolizing harmony and contemplation. The vibrant red torii gate, partially submerged, adds a spiritual dimension and invites reflection. The tatami flooring and sleek furnishings reinforce the Zen-like atmosphere. Every element, from the ceramic vase to the carefully trimmed bonsai trees, contributes to a perfect balance between indoor and outdoor, tradition and nature. This composition successfully captures the essence of a meditative space while celebrating Japanese culture and its timeless aesthetic.
Presentation
Tamara is a young Belgian-Italian artist. She studied applied arts and perfected her practice of painting and abstract figuration by attending Brussels workshops. She completed her training in Modena which brought this dual culture to her work. She very quickly developed a painting between realism and figuration, which earned her a constantly increasing popularity and a great future in modern art.
As a technique, she uses acrylic painting with a brush, knife, stencil, etc. on canvas. Influenced by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Jackson Pollock, Zao Wou-ki, Georgiana Houghton, Paul Wackers, Jonas Wood, Tamara De Lempicka, Frida Kahlo...
