Description
The image is a methodical arrangement of domestic objects on three shelves. The palette favors a bright yellow background that structures the space.
At the top, a plant with tapered leaves is next to a pink crystal and a circular clock adorned with colorful patterns.
The central level presents a white vase with crossed geometric lines, flanked by a minimalist plant stem.
The base of the composition reveals three distinct containers. A wide bowl displays a stylized landscape with a rising sun. A gray vase welcomes a dark abstract shape. Finally, a last vase bears a multicolored checkered pattern.
The line is sharp and the color blocks are clear. The whole plays on the balance between organic shapes and rigid structures. Each element occupies a precise place in this imaginary arrangement. The artist's signature appears discreetly in the bottom right.
Presentation
Tamara is a young Belgian-Italian artist. She studied applied arts and perfected her practice of painting and abstract figuration by attending Brussels workshops. She completed her training in Modena which brought this dual culture to her work. She very quickly developed a painting between realism and figuration, which earned her a constantly increasing popularity and a great future in modern art.
As a technique, she uses acrylic painting with a brush, knife, stencil, etc. on canvas. Influenced by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Jackson Pollock, Zao Wou-ki, Georgiana Houghton, Paul Wackers, Jonas Wood, Tamara De Lempicka, Frida Kahlo...
