Description
The balance is established between rigorous geometry and organic curves. The composition fragments into colored zones. A central circle attracts the gaze. It contains nested shapes and contrasting shades. Two red spheres stand out sharply within it.
The background plays with tonal contrasts. Deep blue meets a bright yellow. Diagonal lines structure the upper space. They create precise visual dynamism. The lateral gradient evokes an abstract horizon.
The work with color is mastered. Each flat area is smooth. The transition between shapes is clear. The whole exudes a serene harmony. The light seems to emanate from the center of the canvas. The line is sharp. The artist favors a synthetic approach to space. The signature adds a discreet final touch in the bottom right.
Presentation
Tamara is a young Belgian-Italian artist. She studied applied arts and perfected her practice of painting and abstract figuration by attending Brussels workshops. She completed her training in Modena which brought this dual culture to her work. She very quickly developed a painting between realism and figuration, which earned her a constantly increasing popularity and a great future in modern art.
As a technique, she uses acrylic painting with a brush, knife, stencil, etc. on canvas. Influenced by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Jackson Pollock, Zao Wou-ki, Georgiana Houghton, Paul Wackers, Jonas Wood, Tamara De Lempicka, Frida Kahlo...
