Description
Litv 1124
In "Labyrinth", Ukrainian artist Daniil Litvinov delves into themes of identity, existential confusion, and the search for meaning. A surreal, headless figure stands before a twisting stone maze, its neck opening like a dark, toothed void. Above it floats a severed, expressive head—detached, yet engaged in a silent dialogue with its own body. The intense red background suggests psychological tension, perhaps inner turmoil or spiritual crisis. The labyrinth symbolizes the complexity of the human mind or the journey of life, where clarity and direction are elusive. By splitting the figure into body and head, Litvinov may be expressing the disconnection between reason and instinct, thought and action, or soul and flesh.his haunting and symbolic composition challenges the viewer to reflect on the fragmentation of self and the endless human struggle to understand one's place in a chaotic world.
