Description
Litv 1131
"Currant" by renowned Ukrainian artist Daniil Litvinov is a captivating ink and watercolor work that merges intricate detail with lyrical spontaneity. At the center of the composition stands an ancient, gnarled tree—its twisting branches and powerful trunk evoking strength, memory, and rootedness. The foliage, light and tender in tone, contrasts the dark, tangled lines of the tree, creating a sense of motion and inner tension. In the background, a small figure or animal, barely distinguishable, invites the viewer deeper into the forest's mystery. Through this work, Litvinov expresses the wild essence of nature and the hidden magic of everyday landscapes. The title “Currant" hints at something modest and familiar, yet the scale and energy of the tree suggest grandeur and myth. It's a reminder of how beauty and wonder dwell in the overlooked corners of our natural world.
