Description
Litv 1132
"In the Arms" by celebrated Ukrainian artist Daniil Litvinov is a vivid and emotionally charged watercolor that blends human vulnerability with surrealism. At the center, a delicate, pale figure of a woman leans tenderly against a brightly colored, almost fantastical being—part creature, part ornate structure. The creature's arms seem to envelop her protectively, forming a visual cocoon of swirling greens, blues, and reds. Through this deeply symbolic composition, Litvinov explores themes of emotional refuge, intimacy, and inner duality. The work may represent the tension between the real and the imaginary, the gentle and the grotesque, or the comfort we seek in both human and abstract forms. It's a painting about surrendering to connection—where fear, beauty, and fantasy intertwine.
