Description
This dynamic work, an explosion of vivid color, captures the essence of energy and movement. Bold brushstrokes unfold with raw intensity, blending hues of red, yellow, blue, and green in a chaotic dance. The canvas is marked by striking contrasts between deep shadows and bright bursts, creating a captivating depth. Abstract forms, free from figurative constraints, invite the viewer to interpret this emotional composition. Touches of white add an airy lightness, balancing the power of the other colors. This work embodies a palpable tension between order and chaos, and its visual impact lies in the harmonious interplay of divergent elements. A celebration of artistic spontaneity through a vibrant and expressive pictorial language.
High quality professional paint with UV protection and a velvety finish.
The edges are painted in continuity with the work.
Hand signed.
My works are mounted on stretchers when they are exhibited or sold, otherwise they are stored rolled up in the studio. See photos.
Presentation
Emily STARCK is a French artist evolving in abstract expressionism guided by her deep emotions. Hypersensitive, she often needs to isolate herself from the world and noise, she recharges in nature, it is there that she mainly draws her inspiration. She likes to work with mixed techniques and is often recognized for her quality as a colorist.
She prefers to express herself on large formats, allowing for a fluid and uncluttered gesture. She paints directly on the canvas, on the wall or on the floor when the format is too large. Then, she creates a custom frame for the finished work. She likes to compare the abstract to a musical improvisation; there is nothing to guess, see, or recognize, just emotions to feel, which will echo each person's experience.
His works are exhibited in museums in Russia in particular, following his Plein Air residency at the Oldenburg Palace in 2017, and also in Greece.
